1. Disaster response
This year, OM MTI responded to two disasters in the region.
The first was a landslide in Mulitaka, Papua New Guinea in May that caused almost 2,000 villagers to be buried. The second disaster we responded to was Typhoon Yagi in Myanmar.
In both disasters, we worked with our local partners to deliver emergency aid and supplies like food and solar lamps to the victims. Besides practical help, our partners also prayed with some of the families and shared the love of Jesus with them.
2. Events
In July, we welcomed the return of Doulos Hope back to the shores of Singapore. With our partners, OM MTI organised three events onboard the ship, bringing together like-minded individuals for the sake of God’s kingdom.
3. esl classes
For over two years, a group of faithful volunteers have been using their precious time to teach English to different groups of students online.
OM MTI has six such classes altogether. The students range from young primary school children to adult learners, and they come from Bandung, Pulau Burong and Batam in Indonesia, as well as the Thai/Myanmar border.
4. child sponsorship
We continued to support the education of 16 children from a marginalised community in a Southeast Asian country.

please pray:
- Thank God for OM MTI’s wonderful partners and supporters. Pray that our relationships with them will grow stronger, and also that God will bring us more partners and supporters so that we can do more for God’s kingdom together.
- That in 2025, OM MTI will continue to reach vulnerable and least-reached communities in East Asia with the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
